We are currently seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to join our team. This position is responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. The Superintendent will serve as the primary point of contact at the jobsite and play a key leadership role throughout the life of each project.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all phases of construction projects from pre-construction planning through final completion
- Coordinate and schedule daily on-site activities to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met
- Allocate labor, materials, equipment, and other resources effectively for assigned projects
- Supervise and direct on-site personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards
- Maintain clear and professional communication with project inspectors, architects, engineers, clients, and local city and county officials
- Review construction documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure work is performed accurately and in accordance with contract requirements
- Monitor jobsite safety and enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations
- Identify and resolve construction issues, conflicts, or delays in a timely manner
- Negotiate change orders and additional work with subcontractors to obtain fair and reasonable pricing
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality control, and attention to detail throughout the project lifecycle
- Prepare and submit daily reports, progress updates, and documentation as required
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management, supervision, or a related field, preferably within commercial construction
- Strong working knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building processes
- Familiarity with construction management and project tracking software
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schedules, and technical documents
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and direct crews
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Willingness to travel extensively to job sites nationwide
- Highly organized, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Pay: $1,500.00 - $1,900.00 per week
