Job Description
Blue Ridge Custom Homes is a well-established, design-build custom home builder. Our company has been locally owned and operated since it's inception over two decades ago. We are looking to grow our team by adding an additional Project Manager. Ideal candidates would be experienced in residential construction supervision, and be able to manage the often difficult expectations and questions that arise from the design-build process. Please do not apply unless you already have extensive residential home construction Project Management experience. Must have a consistent employment record with atleast 3-4 years as a Project Manager with the same employer.
Position Summary
The Project Manager will direct, manage, and execute all related duties on houses that have been assigned to them. The Project Manager will spend the majority of their time in the field, visiting each of their assigned houses. The Project Manager will report directly to a Production Manager. Position is for Charlottesville and Richmond, VA surrounding areas.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee the construction of complex custom-homes from permit through closing, including and subsequent service/warranty work
- Act as the primary liaison/contact with the client for the entirety of the project
- Oversee and ensure that workmanship aligns with plans, specifications, and meets the highest quality of construction
- Schedule, coordinate, and implement all aspects of rough and finish construction processes
- Communicate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and coworkers via multiple mediums (phone, email, Buildertrend, etc.)
- Inspect and monitor projects to compliance with building codes, safety codes, and other applicable regulations
- Maintain professional and positive attitude at all times
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
