Platinum Autoplex LLC is a growing Buy Here Pay Here (BHPH) used car dealership committed to helping customers with transportation needs through flexible in-house financing. We are seeking a motivated, reliable, and customer-focused individual to join our team.
No collections experience? That's okay! We provide paid training for the right candidate with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Position Summary
As a Customer Service & Collections Representative, you will work directly with customers to maintain positive relationships while assisting with payment arrangements, account maintenance, and general office operations. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Contact customers by phone, text, and email regarding account payments
- Accept and process customer payments
- Explain loan terms, payment options, and account status
- Assist customers with payment arrangements when appropriate
- Update customer contact information, references, and insurance information
- Monitor insurance compliance and maintain accurate customer records
- Answer incoming telephone calls and direct calls appropriately
- Greet customers and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Prepare, review, and process contracts and dealership paperwork
- Scan, file, organize, and maintain customer files and records
- Perform data entry with accuracy and attention to detail
- Assist with general office duties, including filing, copying, scanning, mailing, and maintaining office organization
- Support daily dealership operations and assist other team members as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Previous customer service, office, cashier, collections, or dealership experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Friendly, professional, and dependable
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general office software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Must be willing to work some Saturdays.
