Three Rivers Hospice located in Cassville is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who feels called to serve in hospice care. As a Hospice CNA, you will provide hands-on personal care, assist with daily living activities, and offer companionship to patients in their homes, assisted living facilities, or nursing homes. CNA's work Monday through Friday from 8 am to whenever they finish their assignments for the day.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene, and mobility assistance.
- Assist with feeding and hydration, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Monitor and promptly report changes in patient condition to the hospice nurse or case manager.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their loved ones, listening with empathy and compassion.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care provided in accordance with hospice policies.
- Follow individualized care plans and uphold the highest standards of patient dignity and respect.
- Support family members by answering questions, offering reassurance, and connecting them with additional resources when needed.
