Summary:
Global Mark Graphics (GMG) is a well-established manufacturing company in the Print Industry, and we are looking to immediately fill a Full-Time position for a Prepress Operator to assist with file preparation for manufacturing. Experience is necessary.
Print Department Hours:
Monday through Friday, 7am – 4pm (with 1hr lunch break)
Recognizing most Holidays (Approximately 10 per year)
Compensation & Benefits:
Depending on Experience, this position will start at around $58k/year, or $28/hr.

Responsibilities:
This is a general list; other duties may be assigned as required.
- Interpreting production tickets and all relevant specifications.
- Receiving & Storing files according to GMG work instructions.
- Quality check and pre-flighting files to assure conformance to quality standard.
- Repairing issues with supplied files using various digital software.
- Supplying proofs in accordance with GMG standards.
- Preparing approved files for various production processes.
- Naming & organizing files for efficient archival, retrieval and reviewing.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of prepress experience in a professional setting.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Applications (Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop) as well as Pitstop.
- Detailed and task oriented.
- Able to interact effectively with others and a good team player.
- Able to respond to common inquiries or complaints from internal and external customers.
- Able to learn new technology, including new/updated software and hardware.

Physical Demands:
· Sitting for 6-8hrs per day.
· Working in front of a computer screen.
· Temperature controlled environment.
· Some work will require building prototypes in a manufacturing environment.
· Noise level is low in office, Moderate in manufacturing environment.
· Manufacturing environment will require some PPE depending upon task.
· Flexible working hours, but generally M-F 7am-4pm.
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
