Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Line Cook to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing quality food service to our patients, visitors and staff ensuring their dietary needs are met in a safe and sanitary environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a passion for customer service.
Responsibilities
- Assist in meal preparation and serving of food to patietnts in accordance with dietary guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, dining rooms, and food service equipment.
- Support the kitchen staff in food prep tasks as needed.
- Follow safety and hygiene protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure that all dietary requirements are met for each patient.
Skills
- Experience in food service or the food industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic nutrition and dietetics is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in meal preparation and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly demeanor towards patients and staff
- Capability to work as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when necessary.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
