Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Team Lead to join our dynamic dental practice. This leadership role is essential in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and operational efficiency within our general department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental assisting, along with excellent leadership skills to guide and mentor the clinical team.
Duties
- Oversee daily clinical operations within the department, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
- Collaborate closely with the Dentist to deliver exceptional patient care, including assisting during procedures and managing patient flow.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dentrix asecend software, ensuring all documentation is complete and up-to-date.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, oral hygiene practices, and post-treatment care to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss performance, address concerns, and implement best practices for clinical excellence.
- Ensure that the clinic environment is safe, clean, and welcoming for both patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a dental clinic setting as a dental assistant or similar role; experience in general dentistry a must.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dentistry and familiarity with various dental specialties including prosthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and endodontics.
- Proficiency in infection control procedures and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
