Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced CDL OTR Lowboy Heavy Haul Driver to join our team and take on exciting, challenging routes across the country. Responsibilities
- Operate lowboy trailers with precision and adherence to safety regulations during over-the-road (OTR) routes across multiple states.
- Load and unload heavy equipment using appropriate tools.
- Secure loads properly using straps, chains, and other securing devices to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
- Navigate route driving efficiently while complying with all federal, state, and local transportation laws.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tractor-trailer, checking brakes, tires, lights, and load security.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delivery schedules, and any issues encountered on the road.
- Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, load details, and inspection reports in accordance with DOT regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience operating tractor-trailers with manual transmission in an over-the-road setting.
- MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 1 YEAR LOWBOY / RGN EXPERIENCE ON AT LEAST 7 AXLES
- Familiarity with heavy haul equipment such as excavators, articulated dump trucks and cranes.
- Strong knowledge of freight handling protocols including securing loads on lowboys safely and efficiently.
- Experience in route driving across long distances with a focus on safety and timeliness.
- Valid CDL Class A license; experience with tractor-trailer combinations required.
- Must be able to pass the pre employment drug screen
- Must not have failed any previous drug screens
- Must be willing and able to perform minor mechanical repairs as needed.

Pay: $2,070.82 - $4,000.00 per week
