Daylight RTC is seeking compassionate and dependable Direct Caregiver I staff to join our residential treatment program serving boys ages 5–17 in Houston, Texas. Staff will provide supervision, support, and daily living assistance to youth in a structured therapeutic environment while helping maintain safety, stability, and positive daily routines.

Pay Rate: Starting at $14.00 per hour
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support boys ages 5–17 within the residential treatment setting
- Assist residents with daily routines, hygiene, meals, chores, homework, and recreational activities
- Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment
- Monitor behaviors and document incidents appropriately
- Provide positive role modeling, encouragement, and emotional support
- Assist with transportation to school, appointments, and community activities as needed
- Follow all agency policies, safety procedures, and Texas Minimum Standards for Residential Treatment Centers
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid Texas driver’s license preferred
- First Aid/CPR preferred
- Ability to work Morning shift 7am-3pm
- Experience working with children, adolescents, behavioral health, childcare, or residential care preferred but not required
