Position Overview:
As a Traveling Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of multiple construction projects across various job sites. You’ll ensure the timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards, overseeing subcontractors, vendors, and ensuring strict adherence to plans, specifications, and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling & Coordination: Manage and schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors on the critical build path to ensure timely project completion.
- Quality Control: Perform regular inspections to monitor the quality of work and ensure it meets plans, specifications, and local codes.
- Communication & Problem Solving: Communicate project updates, resolve issues on-site, and collaborate with project teams to ensure smooth workflow.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce job site safety and compliance with OSHA regulations; perform safety checks and ensure all work is performed according to safety standards.
- Project Documentation: Review RFIs, Material Submittals, and ensure all project documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Site Walks & Inspections: Conduct regular site walks to monitor project progress, ensure proper execution of work, and identify potential conflicts or deficiencies.
- Team Leadership: Lead the on-site team, ensuring a positive and productive work environment, while resolving any issues that arise with subcontractors and vendors.
- Travel: Travel to various job sites across the region (up to 75% of the time) and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of verifiable experience in commercial construction, with at least 7 years as a Superintendent.
- Education/Certifications: OSHA 10 Certification required; OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Construction Management or related field is a plus.
- Software Skills: Proficient with construction management software such as Procore, Autodesk, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, Outlook).
- Communication Skills: Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and procedure manuals. Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Travel: Must be willing to travel up to 75% to various job sites as required.
