Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Property Management Chief Operations Officer (COO) to lead and elevate our property management operations. Duties
- Lead the development and implementation of operational excellence initiatives that optimize property management processes, enhance service delivery, and improve overall efficiency.
- Oversee large-scale organizational change management projects to adapt to market trends and internal growth strategies.
- Manage business operations including budgeting, forecasting, profit and loss analysis, and financial management to ensure fiscal responsibility and sustainable growth.
- Develop strategic plans aligned with corporate objectives, translating them into actionable programs that improve operational performance.
- Supervise senior leadership teams across various departments, fostering a high-performance culture through effective management and mentorship.
- Utilize data analytics to inform decision making, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement continuous process improvements.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams on project management initiatives that support operational efficiency and organizational goals.
- Communicate effectively with executive stakeholders through verbal communication with executives to report on progress, challenges, and strategic insights.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in operational management within property or real estate sectors, demonstrating success in large-scale organizational change management.
- Strong background in business development management combined with expertise in strategic planning and execution.
- Extensive knowledge of business operations including budget management, forecasting, profit/loss analysis, and financial oversight.
- Demonstrated leadership in executive-level team management with supervisory experience overseeing diverse teams.
- Expertise in process improvement methodologies
- Excellent verbal communication skills tailored for interaction with senior executives and stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience managing operational excellence initiatives that drive efficiency and organizational growth.
- Skilled in project management with a focus on large-scale program implementation across multiple departments.
- Data-driven decision-making capabilities supported by strong analytical skills and familiarity with operational analysis tools.
- Proficient in Appfolio Software, maintenance processes, leasing and compliance knowledge
