We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Medical Supervisor to provide clinical collaboration and administrative oversight for our Missouri-based operations.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a licensed Missouri Medical Supervisor (MD/DO) to provide essential clinical supervision, chart reviews, and collaborative oversight for our primary care operations.
This position is 100% Fully Remote, allowing you to perform all chart reviews, protocol sign-offs, and consultations from your home or own practice. However, per Missouri state regulatory guidelines for collaborative practice agreements, the physician must practice or reside within a maximum 75-mile radius of our clinic location in the Kansas City metro area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a practicing physician looking for a predictable, low-hour monthly supplemental role providing vital compliance support to a growing medical practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Collaboration: Provide required professional oversight, collaborative practice agreements, and consultative support for advanced practice clinicians.
- Chart Review & Quality Assurance: Perform routine, periodic review of patient charts and clinical protocols remotely to ensure accurate documentation and patient safety.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all clinical operations align with Missouri state laws, medical board regulations, and collaborative practice guidelines.
- Policy Guidance: Review and advise on clinical policies, standing orders, and operational workflows to support the practice infrastructure.
- Availability: Maintain remote availability (via phone/email) during business hours for periodic clinical consultations regarding complex cases or prescriptive authority questions.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted medical license in the State of Missouri (Required).
- Geographic Requirement: Must practice or reside within 75 miles of the Kansas City, MO metro area to satisfy state collaborative guidelines (Required).
- Certifications: Current DEA certification and clean regulatory record.
- Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of clinical experience in Primary Care, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care. Previous experience acting as a collaborative physician or medical supervisor is highly preferred.
