American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift position at an academic medical center, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and active RRT certification.

13-week travel contract

Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (4x12-hour shifts)

36 or 48 hours per week
-
Every other weekend rotation required

Every other holiday coverage required
-
Epic EMR experience required
-
Active RRT certification required (must be in-hand; pending not accepted)

Active VA state license required, or license pending provided a temp license can be obtained prior to start date — a license from another state is required to be eligible for a temp license

BLS certification required

ACCS certification preferred

Minimum 2 years of experience required; 4+ years preferred

Two professional references required for consideration

Driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

License required if applicable

Position is based in a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit at an academic medical center

Candidates may be floated in accordance with their clinical experience

Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract

Any planned time off between signing and start date should be communicated at the time of consideration
