AUDITION NOTICE
Levity Players Group, a professional theatre company performing in Independence, Kansas City, and other locations, is auditioning talented and dedicated actors. Our next audition opportunity is:
Sunday, July 26th, 2026 – 1:30 p.m.

Please be there before 1:30 p.m., as the director has remarks to share with all auditioners. The show we are auditioning forisWhich Witch is Which or Ding-Dong the Witch is Dead.This show will be performed in October.
There is also the possibility of being cast in The Black Friday Shopping Planning Murder or I’d Kill for a Bargain! That show will be performed in November.
There is also the possibility of being cast in a third show, The Hollowfield-Macaw Gender Reveal Party or A Good Mother-In-Law is a Dead Mother-In-Law. That show will be performed in December.
In summary, this is an opportunity to secure three months of acting work by auditioning once. We are definitely building a troupe; we are interested in working with dedicated actors who embody professional values.
We present fully interactive, family-friendly murder mystery comedies. Our covenant with our audiences and with our venue partners is that our shows will not contain objectionable language or situations.
Please bring headshots and resumes if you have them. Auditions will consist of cold readings of sides. No monologues will be needed.
This is absolutely a paid professional acting opportunity. Pay is fifty dollars per show plus tips earned from serving guests dinner and drinks. Tips have ranged from a low of approximately thirty dollars per show to a high of approximately one hundred dollars per show. In addition, the director may pay bonuses at the end of the run predicated upon an actor’s contribution to the team. This is the number one paying professional theatre performance job in greater Kansas City on a dollar per hour invested basis.
