Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Production Assistant to join our team at Parkway Custom Drycleaning. In this role, you will support our production operations by assisting with various tasks that ensure the efficient processing of garments. Your contributions will help maintain our high standards of service and quality. .
Responsibilities
- Primary responsibility for cleaning and bagging patio cushions with power washer and other equipment, removing stains and ensuring they are fresh and presentable
- Serving as a backup delivery driver, delivering garments and other items to homes throughout the DC area in one of our delivery vans.
- Light steaming/pressing of garments- training provided
- Bagging garments and drapes, preparing them for customer pickup or delivery
- Helping with inventory and shipping – preparing boxes, printing shipping labels
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the manufacturing facility.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must speak English, but this can be your second language
- Valid U.S. driver's license (at least 3 years) with a clean driving record
- Computer literate
- Prior experience in a cleaning, warehouse or production environment is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to weight 35 pounds)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills in English
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varied weekday hours between 7am-7pm
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Pay: $18.50 - $21.00 per hour
