We are seeking a skilled and motivated PRN Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) to join our team in Daytona Beach Shores, FL. In this role, you will assist physicians in performing minimally invasive, image-guided procedures, operate radiologic equipment, and help ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
This position requires a strong understanding of radiologic imaging, interventional procedures, and sterile techniques, along with excellent patient care and communication skills.
- Scheduling & Clerical Support: Schedule patients for IR procedures and assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Radiologic Imaging: Operate X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment, adjusting settings to achieve optimal imaging results.

Procedure Assistance: Support physicians during interventional radiology procedures, including the setup and preparation of instruments, catheters, and related devices.

Contrast & Medication Handling: Prepare and dispense contrast media and medications under appropriate clinical supervision.

Sterility Maintenance: Maintain a sterile field during all IR procedures.

Patient Monitoring: Observe and record patient vital signs, ensure comfort, and assist in post-procedure recovery.

Record Keeping: Accurately document procedures, patient data, and maintain digital records using computer systems.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology

Current Florida Radiologic Technologist License

ARRT Certification in Radiography (RT(R))

BLS Certification (required)

Minimum 1 year of experience in general radiologic imaging and interventional radiology (preferred)

Proficiency in operating X-ray, C-arm, and IR imaging equipment

Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and sterile techniques

Experience with quality assurance (QA) and troubleshooting of radiologic equipment
