Soar N Bounce Indoor Playground is looking for a positive, organized, kid‑loving leader to join our team as an Assistant Manager. This role supports daily operations, leads staff, ensures a clean and safe play environment, and helps create unforgettable experiences for families with young children.
Responsibilities Daily Operations & Leadership
- Support the General Manager with opening/closing duties
- Lead and motivate team members during busy play hours and birthday parties
- Ensure staff are following safety, cleanliness, and customer service standards
- Assist with scheduling, training, and coaching team members
Guest Experience
- Provide warm, friendly customer service to families and caregivers
- Help resolve guest concerns with patience and professionalism
- Ensure the playground and soft‑play areas are safe, clean, and welcoming
- Assist with check‑ins, wristbands, and general guest flow
Party & Event Oversight
- Oversee party hosts to ensure birthday parties run smoothly
- Support setup, timing, transitions, and guest satisfaction
- Step in when needed to help serve food, cut cake, or guide activities
Cleanliness & Facility Care
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the playground
- Ensure party rooms are reset quickly and properly
- Monitor soft‑play equipment and report maintenance needs
Administrative Support
- Assist with inventory, ordering, and supply management
- Help with basic reporting, deposits, and daily paperwork
- Support hiring efforts and new‑team‑member onboarding
Qualifications
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Experience working with children or in a family‑focused environment is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, confident demeanor
- Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast‑paced setting
- Comfortable enforcing safety rules in a kind, professional way
- Must be available for weekends and some holidays
