Job Summary
Muskogee Federal Credit Union is looking for a full time Teller with a strong work ethic to provide the highest level of service to our members with minimal errors and in a timely manner. We are looking for a team player with a friendly personality that will go the extra mile for our members.
Responsibilities
- Conduct cash handling duties accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and balancing cash drawers and daily transactions.
- Sell money orders, cahiers checks, and gift cards.
- Utilize financial software to record transactions, update account information, and perform basic math calculations such as debits & credits.
- Knowledge of credit union products and services to assist with member needs.
- Detect and prevent potential fraud by monitoring transactions and verifying customer identities during interactions.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Assist Member Service with maintaining member account; provide routine information concerning services; answer questions and resolve problems within their authority.
- Experience
- Up to six months of similar or related experience.
- Equivalent to a high school education.
- Courtesy, tact and diplomacy are essential elements of the job.
- Ten-key calculator and computer keyboard by touch. Must be good with detail to deal with numbers and names.
Pay: From $12.76 per hour
