Force Manufacturing is a small but growing precision machining company seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist / Programmer / Operator to join our team. If you enjoy taking a project from print to finished part and have experience programming and running HAAS CNC mills, we'd like to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate HAAS CNC Milling Machines
- Create and modify CNC programs using Mastercam Software
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T
- Select tooling, fixtures, and workholding for efficient production
- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring equipment
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to improve cycle times and quality
- Produce prototype and production parts while maintaining tight tolerances
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Work closely with engineering and production personnel to meet customer deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of CNC mill programming and machining experience
- Proficient programming with Mastercam Software
- Experience operating and setting up HAAS CNC Mills - VF4 & VF2
- Strong understanding of G-Code and machining practices
- Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
- Experience using micrometers, calipers, indicators, bore gauges, and other inspection equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training is a plus)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience machining aluminum, stainless steel, tool steel, and plastics
- Knowledge of multi-axis machining
- Experience with prototype and short-run production
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
