General Maintenance Technician Duties
Full-time Maintenance Technician for 277 Unit Residential Property.
- Resolve issues in a timely manner with minimal supervision
- Travel to other property locations if needed
- Pick up supplies, parts and equipment or call manufacturers for delivery as needed
- Complete work orders daily in a timely and professional manner
- Pool Maintenance Certification is a plus
- Clean walkways and windows, pick up trash if seen on grounds
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand verbal communications in English
- Must have a clean driving record, reliable transportation and pass background check
- Must have your own tools
- Must be able to use a smartphone, email, text, and complete electronic work orders
- Light Fixtures

- Minor Carpentry
- Other building maintenance items as needed
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure to minimize downtime.
- Perform residential painting as needed to maintain facility aesthetics and safety standards.
- Assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Support team members, demonstrating leadership qualities while fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to internal requests for repairs or maintenance assistance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments with a strong mechanical background.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques including the use of ohmmeters.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and related automation systems.
- Ability to perform repairs safely and efficiently.
- Basic residential painting skills are a plus for facility aesthetic upkeep.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to electrical work, welding, and general facilities maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively document work orders and collaborate with team members. Experience and Compensation
Minimum 2 year’s experience in a similar position.
Compensation based on experience.
