Pitstop Mobile Oil Change is a rapidly growing mobile mechanic service. We are hiring a new team member to perform mobile oil change and tire rotation services at our clients sites around Kansas City. This is a mobile mechanic role, we currently have 12-14 client sites we service around the Kansas City Metro Area, including at KCI Airport.
A typical day involves independently driving to client sites around Kansas City and performing oil changes and tire rotations for our fleet customers around the city. Currently we have 2 full-time position available (30-40 h/wk) though total hours will depend on fleet demand and seasonality. We will route you to the stores and provide all oil/filters and some tools/supplies. Storage facility is located in North KC. We work mostly outdoors so dress for the weather.
Start as 1099 Contractor at $22/hour. Advancement opportunities and full-time W2 work will be available to those who do good work and are motivated to make more money. We are a fast growing company and have several other pending contracts in the area which would lead to upward mobility and higher pay within the company for a solid tech.
We are looking for someone who:
1. Has a truck with room for supplies. You will be strongly considered if you have a truck. A sedan will not work for this.
2. Is an experienced technician who can do oil changes and tire rotations on most vehicles
3. Is reliable, dependable, and communicates well
4. Can provide most tools for basic oil change and tire rotation services
5. Presents a clean and professional image to customers and is cool with driving a lot and working outside
6. Has a smart phone with internet access
