Weekly Gross Pay: $2,513.00
Weekly Taxable Pay: $1008.00
Nontaxable Weekly: $1,505.00

Genie Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced RN – TELEMETRY. to fill an opening in Wichita, KS for $69.80/hr. (Taxed+ nontaxed)
Requirements of the RN TELEMETRY:
● Must have a valid state KS License or Compact license.
● Must have AHA BLS, ACLS
● Must have Minimum 1-year current acute care Hospital Telemetry experience
● Must have 2+ years of RN TELEMETRY.

Responsibilities of the RN TELEMETRY.:
- Shift: 12-hours Nights
- Shift Details: 7.00 PM to 7.00 AM
- 36 hours/week. (3*12)
- 13-week assignment
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data to detect arrhythmias and other cardiac abnormalities promptly.
- Administer medications, including IV infusions and botulinum toxin treatments, following strict aseptic techniques and hospital protocols.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to inform care plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in acute care settings such as ICU, emergency rooms, and trauma centers to deliver coordinated patient care.
- Manage complex cases involving trauma medicine, infectious disease care, hospice & palliative medicine, and senior care populations.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
- Participate in discharge planning, patient education, and case management activities to promote recovery and long-term health management.
- Demonstrate proficiency in advanced procedures including catheterization, ventilator management, tube feeding, and wound suturing when necessary.
Skills
- Extensive experience working with telemetry systems for continuous cardiac monitoring.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation.
- Strong critical care experience within ICU or Level I/II trauma center environments; ICU or PICU experience preferred.
- Knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Skilled in IV insertion, venipuncture, aseptic technique, medication administration including injections and IV infusions.
- Familiarity with specialized areas such as neurovascular procedures (e.g., spinal tap), dialysis management, ostomy care, and infectious disease protocols.
- Ability to adapt quickly across diverse clinical settings including outpatient clinics, urgent care centers, home & community care environments.
- Excellent communication skills for triage assessments and collaborating with patients of all ages—including pediatrics and geriatrics—while maintaining high standards of patient safety and confidentiality.
