The Role:
Our CEO leads across three dimensions simultaneously: client relationships, internal firm leadership, and external-facing strategic work. The EA to the CEO supports all three — and does so by actively managing the CEO's bandwidth, not just their calendar.
What that looks like in practice:
- Organizing and teeing up the CEO's prioritized tasks
- Keeping the CEO from becoming a bottleneck
- Redirecting requests for the CEO's time that can and should be handled by another team member
- Owning the CEO's calendar end-to-end
- Drafting and managing correspondence on the CEO's behalf
- Supporting client-facing commitments with the same care and discretion the CEO brings directly
- Coordinating internal leadership logistics, external engagements, and special projects as needed
What we are looking for:
- Has supported a senior executive, C-suite leader, or principal and know what it takes to manage a high-complexity leader
- You anticipate needs before they're expressed and surface problems with proposed solutions
- Exercise sound judgment about what requires the CEO's attention
- Communicate with clarity and professionalism in writing
- Handle sensitive information with complete discretion
- Bring warmth and genuine care to every interaction — with clients, attorneys, and support staff alike
- Are aligned with how we operate: collaboratively, with humility, and in service of something larger than yourself
How we show up every day:
We are building something different. M+M is a firm where collaboration is how we actually work — not a value on a poster. There is no internal competition, no origination credit, no reward for going it alone. Clients belong to the firm. Success is shared. We treat every member of our team as a meaningful contributor and invest in their growth accordingly. If that sounds like the kind of place you want to build your career, we'd like to talk.
How to Apply:
Please send your resume and cover letter to [email protected]
In your cover letter please describe a specific moment when you had to decide what an executive needed to handle personally versus what you could resolve on your own and walk through how you made that call.
