FlexStaff is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Obstetrician/Gynecologist (NYS MD Licensure) to join our client outpatient healthcare center that provides primary care, dental, behavioral health, OB/GYN, and other community-based wellness services for their location in Queens, NY.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an approved medical school
M.D. Licensure in New York State
Board certified or Board eligible in OB/GYN
Credential approved by the Credentialing Committee
BLS Required Medicaid Provider ID
Position Highlights:
Provide prenatal and postpartum care, including exams and diagnostic assessments
Develop and manage care plans (diet, activity, medications, procedures)
Deliver babies and perform cesarean sections and other obstetric surgeries
Provide postpartum follow‑up to ensure maternal and neonatal health
Diagnose and treat gynecologic conditions affecting the female reproductive system
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Collaborate with allied health staff (nurses, medical assistants, counselors, social workers, behavioral health, pharmacists, nutritionists, lab staff) to deliver team-based care.
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic women’s health conditions across the lifespan.
Provide preventive and primary women’s health services (exams, immunizations, health education, prenatal/postpartum care, evidence-based screenings).
Coordinate referrals, inpatient/specialty care, and follow-up with affiliated facilities.
Participate in scheduled on-call coverage as required.
Support Quality Improvement/Assurance activities, chart reviews, data collection, and UDS reporting.
Complete required continuing medical education and follow OB/GYN policies/procedures.
Rotate across Health Center sites and perform other duties as assigned to ensure operational continuity.
