POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Director of Annual Giving & Operations, the Development Operations Coordinator supports the daily administrative and operational functions of the Development Department. This role is responsible for maintaining the integrity of donor database systems, processing donor financial transactions, coordinating donor stewardship activities, and assisting with the planning and logistics of fundraising events and annual campaigns.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversees the accuracy and integrity of Salesforce donor databases and fundraising platforms, including but not limited to: Salesforce, Classy, OneCause, and Traction.
- Ensures proper documentation and financial recording to support accurate reporting and compliance.
- Manages the administrative processing of both in-person and online donations and pledges.
- Records all contributions and pledges accurately, processes payments, and provides support for donation-related reporting and data management in coordination with the finance department.
- Assists both the Director of Annual Giving and Development team with the planning, marketing, and logistical coordination of special events and annual campaigns such as: Event Design, Sponsorship Management, Auctions, Raffles and Ticketing.
- Manages administrative processing, acknowledgement, and stewardship of donations and donor campaigns through data entry and spreadsheet applications.
- Coordinates Moves Management systems and processes such as donor profiling, funding, prospecting and tracking and solicits reminders for development team.
- Scans, files, uploads and maintains digital and physical documents.
- Manages donor accounts receivables.
- Possesses a collaborative spirit and a team-player mentality, paired with the ability to work independently when needed.
- Works with the departments technology infrastructure and supports the team in using our systems effectively.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and the ability to represent the organization in a professional manner.
- Works effectively with other key JCC departments to provide effective and efficient service delivery.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
While performing the above duties, this position routinely requires handling persons and/or objects and moving safely throughout the building. This position may include walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. This position requires communicating, either verbally or in writing. This position frequently requires moving items weighing up to 25 pounds. This position occasionally requires moving items weighing up to 50 pounds. QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or non-profit management and 2-5 years of experience in non-profit development, fundraising operations or administrative coordination preferred. Strong working knowledge of Customer Relationship software, Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
