Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated Metal Decking Assemblers to join our client’s manufacturing crew. This role involves hands-on assembly of metal components and requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to follow written instructions. Assemblers will learn product variations and contribute to delivering high-quality finished products that meet client standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate hand tools that require physical strength and precision.
- Follow written instructions to complete assigned tasks.
- Learn different product variations with careful attention to final assembly quality.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 75 lbs.
- Capable of standing and bending for a full 8-hour shift.
- Familiarity with basic manufacturing power tools (impact drill, hand drill, angle grinder, miter saw, palm sander, etc.).
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Ability to successfully complete customer-administered tests including tape measure reading, math (including fractions), and blueprint reading.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to take direction from supervisors.
- Must wear steel toe boots.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to lift and carry 100+ lbs occasionally (team lifts).
- Extended periods of standing and bending during an 8-hour shift.
