About the Role:
The purpose of the role is to lead the FM related decarbonization & sustainability program for a global client operating in the Financialsector. Blending client facing strategic engagement and policy development withspecific related programs of work, the Director of Sustainability will beresponsible for leading the client’s IFM-based net zero transition.
Operating as a seniorleader, the Manager of Sustainability will update on Energy, Sustainabilityand Decarbonization workstream progress towards targets, risk and opportunity registers,and be a facilitator of knowledge alignment between CBRE and client leadershipteams.
This is an officebased role and the expectation is that the individual will be present in theclient’s Dallas office 5 days a week.

What You’ll Do:
Develop and implement sustainability strategies to meetclient objec ti ves and minimize environmentalimpact
Apply knowledge of sustainability best prac ti ces to integrate with global pla tf ormsand achieve team objec ti ves
Iden ti fy, troubleshoot, and resolveday-to-day and moderately complex issues within exis ti ngsystems and processes
Lead the team in enhancing the quality, efficiency, andeffec ti veness of sustainability ini ti a ti ves
Communicate and exchange complex informa ti on, set performance expecta ti ons,and manage sensi ti ve issues
Influence stakeholders with shared interests to reachconsensus and drive sustainability goals
Collaborate with facility managers to provide expertsustainability advice and support
Monitor and evaluate the effec ti venessof sustainability programs, iden ti fyingopportuni ti es for improvement
Develop and present sustainability status and variancereports to clients
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevantexperience in sustainability or a related field
Experience in coordina ti ngand supervising team ac ti vi ti es,with a focus on achieving departmental objec ti ves
Strong problem-solving skills to iden ti fyand resolve moderately complex issues
Ability to communicate complex informa ti on effec ti vely andmanage sensi ti ve situa ti ons
Proven ability to influence and build consensus amongstakeholders with shared interests In-depth knowledge of sustainability bestprac ti ces and industry standards
Proficiency in Microso ft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong organiza ti onalskills and an inquisi ti ve mindset to drive con ti nuous improvement in sustainability ini ti a ti ves Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sustainability Manager position is $140,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $180,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
