Position: Store Supervisor
Status: Full-Time
Compensation: Competitive, based on experience
Reports to: Store Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily store operations to ensure efficiency, cleanliness, and smooth workflow
- Supervise and guide bakery staff during shifts
- Lead by example with outstanding customer service
- Assist with inventory control and ordering supplies as needed
- Maintain high food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Motivate and train team members to uphold store standards and performance goals
- Contribute ideas and efforts to help drive sales and customer engagement
- Communicate effectively with management and staff
- Ensure cookies are properly baked and served
- Prepare and serve beverages (coffee and lemonades)
- Time management throughout the shift
- Ensuring checklists are being completed during shifts
- Being accountable
- Learn and implement policies, procedures, and protocols
- Attention to detail
- Ability to train staff
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid NYCDOH Food Handler’s License
- Open availability including weekends and holidays
- Prior experience in the food or hospitality industry (1+ year preferred)
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to learn and grow—potential to advance into Assistant Manager role
- Ability to sell products effectively while understanding customer needs.
- Excellent customer service abilities with a focus on creating positive interactions.
- Demonstrated capability in managing teams and fostering a collaborative work atmosphere.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks related to payroll and scheduling is advantageous.
