What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and/or emergency response activities in a professional manner.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local law enforcement when appropriate.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential security-related concerns.

Maintain a visible armed presence at the location while monitoring entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support loss prevention efforts and/or reduce disruption.

Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, patrol activity, and security-related concerns, and assist with de-escalation during customer and/or employee interactions when needed.
Minimum Requirements:

Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or 5+ years of armed security-related experience.

Be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
