Position Overview/Job Summary:
Harris Spice is seeking a highly skilled and hands-on IT / Network Administrator to support and administer the company’s technology environment. This position plays a key role in maintaining reliable, secure, and efficient IT operations across end-user systems, network infrastructure, servers, cloud services, and business applications. The IT / Network Administrator will provide advanced technical support while managing and troubleshooting core infrastructure, including Windows servers, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, VMware, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, network equipment, endpoint security, and storage systems. This is a technical position that requires the ability to work across the full IT environment. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable providing hands-on support to employees, resolving complex desktop and application issues, administering network and server environments, and participating in infrastructure upgrades and technology projects.
Essential Job Functions:
· Provide Level 2/3 technical support for Windows desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, software, and business applications.
· Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, performance, printing, email, and authentication issues.
· Provide onsite support to employees.
· Install, configure, image, deploy, upgrade, and maintain computers and peripheral equipment.
· Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
· Assist with user accounts, passwords, MFA, permissions, onboarding, transfers, and offboarding.
· Manage Help Desk tickets and meet established SLAs.
· Document issues, resolutions, configurations, and procedures.
· Provide professional and responsive customer service to technical and non-technical users.
· Administer, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and network infrastructure.
· Configure and troubleshoot switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, VLANs, and VPNs.
· Troubleshoot TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, wireless, Internet, and connectivity issues.
· Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity.
· Support Ubiquiti/UniFi or similar network equipment.
· Maintain network diagrams, IP addressing, configurations, and infrastructure documentation.
· Support hosted VoIP systems and troubleshoot network-related issues.
· Coordinate with Internet, telecommunications, and technology vendors.
· Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server environments.
· Support Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file/print services, permissions, and user accounts.
· Administer Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365 identity services.
· Support VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter environments.
· Support Dell servers, storage systems, and Nimble SAN or similar technologies.
· Monitor server health, performance, storage, and availability.
· Assist with server upgrades, migrations, patching, backups, and disaster recovery.
· Troubleshoot server, virtualization, storage, and application issues.
· Support endpoint security, antivirus/EDR, patch management, and endpoint management systems.
· Assist with MFA, access controls, security policies, vulnerability remediation, and security incidents.
· Support company business applications and coordinate with vendors when necessary.
· Provide basic SQL Server administration and troubleshooting.
· Use PowerShell or other scripting tools to automate routine IT tasks.
· Participate in and manage assigned IT infrastructure projects, including network upgrades, server migrations, hardware refreshes, Microsoft 365 initiatives, and security improvements.
· Maintain IT asset inventory and lifecycle management.
· Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, network diagrams, and system records.
· Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers.
· Participate in scheduled maintenance and occasional after-hours or emergency support.

Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 5+ years of progressive IT experience in desktop support, systems administration, network administration, or infrastructure support.
- 3+ years of hands-on desktop/end-user support in a business environment.
- Strong experience with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.
- Strong working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, VLANs, switching, routing, and firewalls.
- Experience supporting servers, network equipment, endpoint security, and business applications.
- Working knowledge of SQL Server
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple issues and projects and work independently.
- Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience supporting Windows Server environments.
- Experience with Ubiquiti networking equipment, Dell servers, storage solutions, or hosted VoIP systems.
- Experience with endpoint security solutions, remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools, or ticketing systems such as NinjaOne.
- Exposure to SQL Server, or basic database administration.
- Experience coordinating with technology vendors.
- Knowledge of ITIL best practices.

Physical Requirements
· Regularly sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach while performing job duties.

Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
