Full Job Description

Tax Resolution company looking for CTEC/EA who is highly motivated, organized and detailed oriented. Position is full time and year round, no crazy tax season hours here.

Job Features

Compensation: Based on Experience, with up to $5000 sign on bonus.
Part or Full Time: Full Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday (40 hours work week).
Seasonal or Year Round: Year Round Employment

Requirements

CTEC, EA certificate or licensed. Must be current.

Minimum 1-2 years of Tax Preparation.

Experienced with 1040, 1120, 1065, 2290, 940 and 941 tax returns.

Experienced with reading and understanding IRS wages & income transcripts.

Knowledgeable with IRS & State Audits and Audit Reconsiderations, CP2000.

Experience with TaxWise software is a plus, we will train if not.

Good with deadlines and work well under pressure.

A positive attitude and desire to excel.

Bookkeeping experience a plus.

Job Duties

Prepare federal and multi-state individuals and corporate tax returns.

Bookkeeping if necessary.

Contact clients and revenue agencies to obtain necessary information to complete returns.

Send returns to client with instructions for filing.

Submit returns to revenue agencies.

Review and submit unreported income CP2000 responses.

Review and prepare exam/audit responses.

Manage and prioritize a full workload and deadlines.

Interact with other departments within the company to help effectively prepare clients’ returns.
