Your Day-to-Day: On the Sales Floor:
- Drive Sales: Warmly greet customers, uncover their design needs, and confidently guide them toward the perfect furniture pieces to close the sale.
- Customer Experience: Provide pressure-free, knowledgeable advice about our materials, pricing, and delivery options.
- Showroom Maintenance: Keep the store looking visually appealing, ensuring tags are accurate and displays are tidy.
Behind the Camera (During Downtime):
- Content Creation: Film, edit, and post engaging short-form video content (TikTok, Instagram Reels) highlighting new arrivals, design trends, and behind-the-scenes showroom life.
- Community Engagement: Reply to comments and DMs, actively engaging with our local digital community to turn followers into paying customers.
What We Are Looking For:
- The "It" Factor: A naturally outgoing, charismatic personality. You love talking to strangers and feel totally comfortable both pitching a sale and talking to a camera.
- Digital Nativity: You understand how Instagram and TikTok work, what audio is trending, and how to make a standard piece of furniture look amazing on video.
- AI Savvy (A Big Plus!): Familiarity with, or eagerness to adapt to, AI technology (such as using ChatGPT for quick caption copywriting, or Canva's AI tools for design) to work smarter and maximize content output.
- Driven to Sell: You are highly motivated by hitting sales targets, boosting numbers, and helping a local business grow.
- International Students Welcome! We are happy to support OPT/CPT candidates, provided the role aligns with your degree requirements. (Note: We can offer the 20 hours/week minimum required for Post-Completion OPT).
- Currently enrolled in (or recently graduated from) a relevant degree program (Business, Marketing, Communications) is a huge plus!
