Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests arriving during nighttime hours with professionalism and warmth, providing check-in and check-out services efficiently.
- Manage multi-line phone systems, handle guest inquiries, and provide accurate information using excellent phone etiquette.
- Conduct nightly audits of guest accounts, ensuring accuracy in billing, reservations, and financial records using OPERA or similar hotel management software.
- Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and financial summaries to ensure seamless communication between shifts.
- Monitor security cameras, perform visual inspections of public areas, and respond promptly to any safety or emergency situations following hotel emergency procedures.
- Maintain guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, fostering a welcoming atmosphere throughout the night shift.
- Uphold hotel policies related to guest privacy, safety protocols, and confidentiality while managing front desk operations efficiently.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations; resort experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of hotel management systems such as OPERA or comparable platforms.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs confidently.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance guest interactions across diverse populations.
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures, guest services standards, and phone etiquette.
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail.
- Previous experience with multi-line phone systems and front desk responsibilities preferred.
