Duties
- Monitor pool activity continuously to enforce safety rules and prevent accidents
- Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, administering first aid and CPR as needed
- Conduct regular pool maintenance tasks such as skimming debris and checking chemical levels
- Perform routine pool cleaning to ensure a hygienic and inviting environment
- Assist children with pool access, provide information about facilities, and deliver friendly guest services
- Inspect safety equipment regularly and report any maintenance needs or hazards
- Support overall pool area upkeep, including light maintenance and ensuring compliance with health standards
- Occasionally attend water field trips
Skills
- Proven lifeguard experience with current certification in Lifeguard, CPR and First Aid
- Strong swimming ability with comfort
- A friendly and approachable demeanor
- Attention to detail in maintaining safety standards and cleanliness
- Ability to stay alert for extended periods and respond quickly in emergency situations
