Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and efficiency
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Assist with food handling, preparation, and bussing duties to support kitchen staff and maintain cleanliness
- Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently
- Upsell menu items, specials, and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain knowledge of menu ingredients, dietary options, and food safety protocols to ensure guest safety and satisfaction
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, especially in fine dining environments or nightclubs, is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a strong advantage
- Experience in customer service roles that involve serving, host/hostess duties, or cashiering demonstrates excellent guest relations skills
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations is essential for maintaining high-quality service
- Strong time management skills to juggle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while providing exceptional guest experiences
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing
