About the Role:
As a Director of Rehab, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of therapists in providing patient-centered care, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and building strong relationships with our medical staff, nursing team, and other departments. You will also participate in quality improvement initiatives, recruit and train new therapists, and stay current with industry developments and best practices.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of therapists in providing patient-centered care, focusing on individualized treatment plans and goal attainment
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices for the therapy department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Foster a collaborative environment by building strong relationships with our medical staff, nursing team, and other departments to promote seamless care coordination
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and department performance
Recruit, train, and mentor new therapists, while providing ongoing professional development opportunities to support growth and advancement
Stay current with industry developments, research, and best practices to ensure cutting-edge therapy services
Requirements:
Degree in Occupational Therapy, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapy, Physical Therapy Assistant, Speech-Language Pathology, or related field
