Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly, providing excellent customer service and product information to enhance their shopping experience
Operate the cash register, handle retail sales transactions accurately, and manage cash drawer handling with integrity
Conduct product demos when applicable, showcasing features and benefits to encourage upselling opportunities
Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and maintaining organized product presentation throughout the store
Use POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for sales processing, returns, and exchanges while ensuring retail math accuracy
Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products or services that meet customer needs
Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing support over the phone
Skills:
Proven experience with POS systems and cash register operations in a retail environment
Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively
Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities in previous roles is a plus
Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for retail math calculations and cash handling procedures
Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and inventory stocking practices
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Familiarity with cashiering procedures, cash drawer handling, and retail sales transactions
Ability to conduct product demos confidently and engage customers through active selling techniques
Strong phone etiquette and communication skills to assist customers both in person and over the phone
