Position Summary
Overson Roofing is seeking a results-driven Roofing Install Manager to lead residential roofing installation operations. This field-based leader is responsible for managing crews and subcontractors, scheduling production, maintaining quality and safety standards, controlling job costs, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience from project handoff through completion.
Working closely with sales and company leadership, the Install Manager ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, within scope, and to Overson Roofing standards.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead daily installation operations for residential reroof and repair projects.
- Review sold-project scopes, estimates, contracts, materials, permits, and special requirements before scheduling work.
- Build and manage production schedules that maximize crew utilization and meet customer commitments.
- Coordinate complete handoffs from sales to production and communicate project expectations clearly with customers and crews.
- Conduct pre-job planning and field inspections to ensure work meets scope, code, manufacturer, quality, and safety requirements.
- Monitor active projects, resolving scheduling conflicts, material shortages, jobsite issues, customer concerns, and crew-performance matters.
- Manage final inspections, punch lists, job documentation, and timely project closeout.
- Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and evaluate installation crews, foremen, and subcontractors.
- Set and enforce standards for workmanship, jobsite cleanliness, professionalism, safety, productivity, and documentation.
- Reduce callbacks, rework, warranty exposure, and customer complaints through proactive quality control and accountability.
- Champion OSHA compliance, fall protection, PPE use, safe work practices, and incident reporting.
- Manage labor, subcontractor, material, equipment, and disposal costs to protect job profitability.
- Review job-cost performance, recommend change orders when appropriate, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Use production reports, job-cost data, and key performance indicators to improve operational performance.

- Installation revenue completed versus plan
- Schedule adherence, crew utilization, and labor productivity
- Job-cost and gross-margin performance
- Quality-control and final-inspection results
- Callback, rework, and warranty rates
- Customer satisfaction, reviews, and resolution of concerns
- Safety performance and compliance
Qualifications
- 3+ years of roofing installation, construction production, or field-operations experience.
- 2+ years of experience leading crews, foremen, subcontractors, or field teams.
- Strong knowledge of residential roofing systems, including shingle, tile, underlayment, flashing, ventilation, and low-slope applications.
- Ability to read estimates, scopes of work, contracts, plans, specifications, and job-cost reports.
- Proven ability to manage multiple active projects while maintaining safety, quality, customer communication, and profitability.
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements and construction-jobsite safety practices.
- Proficiency with scheduling, project-management, photo-documentation, and reporting tools; ServiceTitan or similar software experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly between Tucson-area jobsites.
- Spanish-English bilingual skills preferred.

Physical Requirements & Benefits
This role requires regular jobsite visits, including access to roofs, ladders, uneven terrain, and outdoor Arizona conditions. Flexible availability may be required during peak production periods, weather events, or urgent customer situations.
Overson Roofing provides a company truck and gas card for this role.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
