We are seeking a motivated and dependable Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate various vehicles including box trucks and personal vehicles for delivery routes, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
- Load and unload merchandise using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, ensuring safe lifting practices.
- Execute delivery routes efficiently using mobile devices for navigation and communication, ensuring timely drop-offs at customer locations.
- Assist with warehouse operations by moving inventory, organizing stock, and operating material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and inventory movements while following proper safety protocols for heavy lifting and weight handling in the workplace.
- Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries and addressing customer inquiries courteously.
- Support warehouse team members with manual tasks such as moving goods, stacking pallets, and preparing shipments for dispatch.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in delivery driving or warehouse operations is highly preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or box trucks is advantageous.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently; familiarity with personal vehicle delivery is a plus.
- Knowledge of safe lifting practices, heavy lifting techniques, and manual handling procedures.
- Experience with material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or similar tools required for efficient warehouse work.
- Strong understanding of route driving, adhering to traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safety standards during all transportation activities.
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in using mobile devices for route management and reporting.
