Service Technician Pay Rate and Hours:
- Starting at $27.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Early Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- This department operates with staggered start times, offering some flexibility on hours
Service Technician Key Responsibilities:
- Apply basic knowledge of mechanical elements and systems to support equipment service and maintenance
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis on mechanical systems to identify and resolve issues
- Gather operational data, document findings, and prepare clear written reports to present to internal teams or clients
- Diagnose and service gear trains, clutches, brakes, and related mechanical components
- Read and interpret hydraulic schematics to perform diagnostics and maintenance on hydraulic systems
- Travel to client locations as needed to perform on-site service, inspections, and support
- Maintain accurate service records and follow all safety protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients regarding equipment status and findings
Service Technician Qualifications:
Must Have:
- Basic to entry-level knowledge of mechanical elements and systems
- Basic understanding of troubleshooting and root cause analysis of mechanical systems
- Ability to gather data, write service reports, and present findings
- Willingness and ability to travel to client locations as required
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience with gear trains, clutches, brakes, and supporting mechanical components
- Ability to read hydraulic schematics and perform hydraulic system diagnostics
- Previous field service or industrial maintenance experience
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
