Lifeguards report directly to Management. This is a part-time position with potential for year-round employment.
Shifts Open Daily Between 6am-8pm
Job Overview:
- Respond to and execute emergency lifesaving procedures to swimmers in distress and other emergencies at the pool.
- Enforce pool rules of the pool.
- Complete Incident Reports regarding incidents at the pool.
- Help maintain cleanliness of LRD’s pool deck & locker rooms.
- Reviews all pool equipment and furniture for functionality.
- Provides excellent customer service to pool patrons.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Manage and update your own schedule & availability regularly.
- Communicate appropriately with management.
Qualifications:
- Must be Lifeguard CPR/AED Certified in a pool setting.
- Professional, team-player, responsible, self-motivated and reliable.
- Excellent time management & communication skills.
- Must be at least 15 years old.
- Available to work morning shift hours.
Pay:
- $18-22 based on experience.
- Pay increases to $25/hr starting September 1st.
Other Duties:
- Due to the fluctuating nature of the community center environment and operations, it may be necessary that each employee perform a multitude of different functions. It may be necessary to work in other areas of the LRD and help others when the occasion arises. Accordingly, you may be expected to perform other tasks as needed or directed.
