Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with certification to obtain IV access to join our Oral Surgery office. In this vital role, you will obtain IV access, administer medication under direct Doctor supervision, monitor vitals and recover patients post surgery. Your expertise in IV infusion and nursing procedures will ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs and physical examinations.
- Administer medications, injections, and IV infusions safely and accurately, utilizing your certification to obtain IV access.
- Document all patient interactions, treatments, and procedures thoroughly within electronic health record (EHR).
Experience
- Valid LVN license with current certification to obtain IV access.
- Demonstrated experience working in diverse clinical settings such as hospitals or out patient facilities.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to support comprehensive patient care delivery.
