We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and customer-focused Restaurant Server to join our team. As a server, you will play a key role in creating a positive dining experience by providing exceptional service to guests, taking accurate food and beverage orders, and delivering orders in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.
- Present menus, explain specials, and answer questions about the menu and ingredients.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Input orders into the POS system and communicate any dietary restrictions or special requests to the kitchen.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each course and resolve any complaints or concerns.
- Clear tables, reset them for the next guests, and assist with general cleaning duties.
- Handle payment transactions accurately (cash, credit, mobile payment, etc.).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Work as part of a team to ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a server or in a customer service role preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling payments.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour
