Intake Manager demonstrates working knowledge of intake process for Residential Treatment Center and Community Based Services admissions according to Facility approved policies and procedures. Demonstrates working knowledge of intake process for emergency placement admissions according to Facility approved policies and procedures.
The Intake Coordinator demonstrates working knowledge of various funding sources, CSA/FAPT,IACCT process and financial verification according to Facility approved policies and procedures. Demonstrates working knowledge of transfers between emergency placement and PRTF admission process according to Facility approved policies and procedures. Demonstrates ability to track daily census, document admission/discharge information and present to the clinical team for approval. Demonstrates ability to provide summary management reports as required by the Facility on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Demonstrates the ability to review medical records and submit documents to Magellan for Medicaid consideration.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accrediting agencies. Maintains strict confidentiality and privacy of residents’ and employees’ personally identifiable health information in accordance with HIPAA privacy rules and facility policies. Meets mandatory staff development requirements of Fire/Safety, Infection Control, and Human Rights.

- Knowledge/experience in program development.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to population served: adolescents 11 to 17 years of age.

Requirements:
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Nursing, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 6 months and above of experience in behavioral health, psychiatric residential treatment, healthcare admissions, case management, or intake coordination.
- Previous experience with Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) admissions and Community-Based Services preferred.
- Experience with emergency placement admissions and transfer processes preferred.
- Knowledge of Medicaid eligibility determination and utilization review processes.
- Experience working with referral sources, hospitals, community agencies, and managed care organizations preferred.
Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
