The Role:
We're looking for an experienced Tile Installation Expert who takes pride in clean, precise, lasting work. You'll handle tile projects from prep to final grout across residential and commercial jobs — floors, walls, backsplashes, showers, and more.
What You'll Do:
- Prep surfaces — level, waterproof, and set substrate/backer board
- Measure, cut, and lay tile (ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, mosaic)
- Set patterns and layouts cleanly, with tight, even spacing
- Mix and apply thinset, mortar, and grout
- Waterproof wet areas like showers and floors to code
- Handle detail work — edges, transitions, trim, and finishes
- Keep the job site clean, safe, and organized
- Deliver work that's straight, level, and built to last
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience installing tile (residential and/or commercial)
- Skilled with tile saws, cutters, trowels, levels, and layout tools
- Strong eye for detail, patterns, and clean finishes
- Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate prep
- Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in quality work
- Able to lift heavy materials and work on your feet
- Own reliable transportation
Nice to Have:
- Experience with large-format tile, natural stone, or custom patterns
- Knowledge of Schluter systems and waterproofing membranes
- Own tools
Pay: $22/hr
Location: Buffalo, NY & surrounding Western New York
