Duties
- Safely handle and transport food orders from the kitchen to tables using proper manual handling and safe lifting practices
- Ensure all food is delivered promptly, accurately, and at the correct temperature for optimal guest satisfaction
- Assist with cleaning and bussing tables to maintain a clean and inviting dining area
- Support food preparation and food handling tasks as needed to help kitchen operations run smoothly
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and guests to coordinate timely service
- Manage in-person customer service by addressing guest inquiries politely and professionally
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS to process orders or assist servers when necessary
Experience
- Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is key!
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Experience with POS systems like Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely during busy service hours
- Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude to provide exceptional guest services
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including bussing, cleaning, and food running tasks, is highly desirable
