About the Role
ASHE Society’s Retail Sales Associate / Budtender provides exceptional and professional service to all customers, vendors, and guests who enter the store. This role represents the ASHE brand with professionalism and passion while delivering strong cannabis education and an outstanding retail experience.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service with a positive, professional, and friendly attitude
- Greet and acknowledge customers, vendors, and guests upon entry and exit
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge and effective sales skills
- Identify customer needs and recommend products across multiple price points
- Educate customers on product features, benefits, pricing, consumption methods, and promotions
- Follow all store procedures, protocols, and operational standards
- Process POS transactions accurately and handle cash with attention to detail
- Ensure proper cash handling and drawer reconciliation
- Meet sales quotas and department performance goals
- Maintain sales floor appearance, including merchandising, restocking, and cleaning
- Communicate product discrepancies and restock needs to the Inventory team
- Assist with curbside pickup order transactions
- Continue cannabis education and stay up to date on product knowledge
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid authorization to work in the U.S.
- 2–3 years of retail, hospitality, or customer-facing experience preferred
- Comfortable using POS systems, technology, and basic software (MS Office, etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused with a positive, team-oriented mindset
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation
- Cannabis knowledge and passion preferred (training provided)

Physical Demands & Work Environment
