We are seeking a qualified and experienced Home Care Administrator to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for our home care agency. This position is responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining high standards of client care, and supporting the continued growth and success of the organization.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a solid background in home care administration, staff management, compliance, and client service. This role requires professionalism, accountability, and the ability to lead both administrative and field teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight of all daily agency operations
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state, federal, and agency regulations
- Develop, implement, and maintain agency policies, procedures, and operational standards
- Supervise administrative staff, coordinators, caregivers, and other team members
- Monitor service delivery to ensure quality care, client satisfaction, and regulatory compliance
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and staff development
- Maintain accurate documentation, personnel records, client files, and compliance records
- Prepare for and participate in audits, inspections, surveys, and regulatory reviews
- Address client, family, employee, and caregiver concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with leadership to support agency growth, client retention, and operational goals
- Review staffing, scheduling, and service coordination processes to ensure efficiency
- Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, compassion, and high-quality service
Qualifications
- Previous leadership experience in home care, healthcare administration, or a related field required
- Strong understanding of home care regulations, compliance standards, and agency operations
- Proven ability to manage staff, oversee daily operations, and resolve operational challenges
- Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
- Proficiency with office systems, scheduling platforms, electronic records, and documentation processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field preferred
- Prior experience as a Home Care Administrator, Director of Operations, Agency Manager, or similar leadership role strongly preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with state licensing requirements, audits, surveys, and compliance reviews
- Background working with HHA, PCA, companion care, or personal care services
- Strong knowledge of caregiver recruitment, retention, scheduling, and client relations
- Bilingual candidates are a plus
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting salary of $100,000 per year
