We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Sr. Inclusion Recreation Leader to join our team dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities. Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and facilitate a variety of recreational activities and events that promote socialization, cognitive engagement, and physical activity for residents with diverse needs.
- Develop innovative program ideas aligned with residents’ interests, abilities, and care plans, including specialized activities for memory care and dementia patients.
- Build strong rapport with residents through personalized engagement, ensuring their preferences are incorporated into activity planning.
- Coordinate resident events by managing schedules, resources, and volunteer support to ensure smooth execution of programs.
- Maintain detailed documentation of program participation, resident progress, and feedback to continually improve offerings.
Experience
- The ideal candidate for this position possesses a current CTRS license, has worked with youth or adult with disabilities, has knowledge of adaptive outdoor recreation, adaptive sport programming and experience in building positive community relationships.
