We are a Nurse Practitioner owned pediatrics practice searching for a family or pediatric nurse practiioner. We can start with part time but we will need full time ultimately. We will train but are looking for an individual who can commit and is not a clinic hopper. Also open to someone who may want to be a clinic owner in the next 10-15 years when we plan to retire.
Position Summary:
Seeking a motivated and patient-focused Family or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care services. The ideal candidate should value preventive medicine, patient education, and holistic approaches to disease management. Spanish & English speaking is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform physical exams, assessments, and diagnostic evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Emphasize nutrition and lifestyle interventions in care plans
- Order and interpret labs and diagnostic studies
- Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate
- Provide patient education on disease prevention and management
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members as needed
Qualifications:
- Active California Nurse Practitioner license, New Graduates are welcome
- Board Certification as Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) (preferred)
- DEA license/Furnishing License (or eligibility)
- Strong interest in preventive care and nutrition
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in pediatric primary care or family medicine
